St. Valentine’s Day: We have encountered another record-low temperature for the year! In the early hours of 3 and 5am, between February, the 1st, and Monday, February 11th, 2019, the temperature fluctuated from the 20’s and 10’s, and finally dropped to 14 degrees - displayed in the forecast. There is around 2 feet of snow on the ground, ice-cold and frigid, with dispersed and light snowfalls spaced throughout the week. It was a “Snowy White Valentine’s Day” in S.E. Alaska! Very still, silent, and with a peaceful absence of the standard faint ambience heard in the background of the atmospheric surroundings. Some notion of sleep was expressed through the spirit of the natural world and wavering thought, breath and existence seemed to breathe through the trees (which are still covered in a few inches of snow). ❄️❤️☕️🎼🌌🔭🌲
Currently it is 27 degrees, and clear. The precipitation is 0%, Humidity is 89%, with 0 mph winds. The estimated high is 33 degrees, and the estimated low is 17. (6 PM, Thursday, February 14th, 2019, St. Valentine’s Day) In the past week or so there are only a few other things which are notable... the temp was so low heaters generally would have to be turned up to the highest level in Alaska, one craft was heard in the middle of the night taking off nearby, and a silence which was very deep in the spiritual and astral world was sensed 3 nights in a row... Today, the change in the hours of daylight was noted.
Moonphase: 73.4% Waxing Gibbous, Other Notes: The moon is visible through the window, is rather still and silent in it’s settings in the sky, an average Waxing Gibbous at 70% illuminated, it appears there is light tracings of fog and eerie thin masks of the whispy presence.
Moonrise: 12:13 pm
Moonset: 4:18 am

⭐️’s: Lately, I’ve seen a few stars upon looking out, and one morning around 5 am, a bright star or planet was not too far above the horizon, in the inspired spectral and celestial blue and white energetics it vibrantly stood out, and with a slightly static quality. It shuttered, just barely in it’s space, and then resumed its glistening lighting of the space in the galaxy it occupied. I don’t know the name of the star/planet, although, if I had to guess, I’d say it resembled “Sirius”, by it’s energies and spiritual expression.
“The stars of winter reign through the long February nights. Orion is in the south at nightfall, with Sirius, the brightest star in the night sky, twinkling fiercely to its lower left. Venus reigns as the Morning Star, although Jupiter gives it some competition. The fainter planet Saturn is close by, adding to the spectacle in the dawn sky.” - KFSK, local radio station

What Is Valentine’s Day?
Valentine’s Day is a commemorated holiday whose subjects, in themes and topics, are martyrdom, persecution and love. In the midst of Rome’s imprisonment, for performing the weddings of soldiers who were forbidden to marry and as persecutors of the Christians under the Roman Empire, Saint Valentine of Rome restored the blind sight of his judge’s daughter and wrote her a Farewell Letter, signed “Your Valentine”, before his execution in 270 AD (Feb. 14th), for his faith in Christ. Although Valentine’s Day is celebrated by many as a romantic holiday, some still consider it to be a dark event.
