The 38 days were comprised of a frigid, or near-freezing troposphere during the mid-winter temperature drop, dark overcast skies, a winter breeze from the mountains (recurrent), there were many days consisting of the eerie and haunting fogs, a few scenic nights surfaced in the forecast - with clear skies and great viewing conditions for the moon and star observations of the season, with less snow during this time. We are now in February and have experienced our first record low of the year, which was 16 degrees, between Friday, Feb. 1st. 2019 - Friday, Feb. 8th, 2019 and 1 or 2 days of low temperatures not far from below freezing were also between the 1st and the 8th.
