The purpose of Weather Observation:
(In history, weather observations have been conducted as far back as the 1800’s. [1])
The purpose of weather observation varies, from person to person, in any field of work. The records may be sought for different reasons. In environmental science, the filed documentation of decades of the weather recordscreate data. Changes in weather patterns, temperatures, “warming and cooling” of the globe... they are topics which the data becomes a “ground/s” for - an established norm, and are available when a person is researching (questions, theories, formulating a hypothesis and studies), for reference, to find an answer. [1, 2, 8]
Questions in studies, data and research:
“Is a cooling or warming trend a trend of the stratosphere?”
“How many trends can be found in history?”
“Is the environment which is perceivable and documented in detail, in observation, affected by crime?”
“Can evidence of the traces of crime be found in weather records, and are the details which are discovered in weather records consistent during the times of the crimes?”
“If a psychic perceives events from a distance, will the weather record which is referred to, from the time and date of the psychic event, match that of a clairvoyant’s vision?”
“When levels of data are referred to, in environmental sciences (past, present and future)... will a level of the data reveal what is suspected about certain trends ...?” [8]
And, “... observations of atmospheric conditions are [required] by meteorologists to develop those weatherforecasts with which we are all familiar.”[5], “Forensic meteorology can help solve any kind of weather or climate-related question, resolve an insurance claim, or support a litigation claim. Forensic weather analysis is routinely needed by attorneys, insurance companies, law enforcement, engineers, and various private companies to research past weather conditions ...”[3], Forensic Meteorology is “... the scientific study of weather, applied to the process of reconstructing weather events for a certain time and location. This is done by acquiring and analyzing local weather reports such as surface observations, radar and satellite images, other data, and eyewitness accounts.”[4], and “... forensic meteorologists ... serve as expert witnesses... “[7]
